Our team at Premier Staffing Solutions is highly committed to  work with you to ensure a positive work experience, help you understand what to expect in this new opportunity, and provide insights and information for compliance and support. 

COMMUNICATIONS

There are times when it will be important for employees on assignment to call our team at Premier Staffing Solutions:

  • Upon arrival on first day of assignment
  • If going to be late or absent to assignment
  • Leaving an assignment. Note: 2-day notice is required
  • Company gives an offer of permanent placement
  • Problems on the job
  • Changes in personal contact information

PAYROLL & ACCOUNTING

  • Pay Period – Monday to Sunday
  • Paychecks – Available on Fridays. If you have questions regarding your paycheck, please contact our office. 
  • Timesheets – Submit timesheet weekly online through your employee portal on Monday by 12:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). Note: Incomplete or timesheets received after 12:00 PM ET on Mondays may delay payment by one week

BENEFITS

VACATION

  • To receive one week of vacation pay, employee must work 1500 consecutive hours in a current continuous twelve month period for the same client
  • Vacation must be requested by employee via email one week prior
  • Vacation time does not roll over

 

PAID HOLIDAYS

  • To receive holiday pay employee must work 1200 consecutive hours in a current continuous twelve month period for the same client
  • Holiday pay is earned when employees work the day before and the day after the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
  • Employee must submit a written request for holiday pay to Premier Staffing Solutions’ accounting department the week prior to the holiday

POLICY

Premier Staffing Solutions uses industry standard work policies that help employees meet expected workplace standards and achieve excellence in assigned work opportunity. Adhering to and compliance with ensures a positive experience.

The following behaviors are STRICTLY PROHIBITED while on assignment through Premier Staffing Solutions.

  • Utilizing client computers unless specifically directed to do so by the client for job related activities
  • Utilizing client company email for personal use.  Only job related emails are allowed, and only if permission to use client email has been granted
  • Logging on to the Internet on the client company computers is prohibited unless directed by the client company for work related searches, etc…
  • Email and / or communication containing obscene, profane, abusive or threatening language or graphic representations or statements or graphics that may be interpreted as discriminatory or offensive because of reference to race, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, religion, age or disability
  • Communications in furtherance of any illegal activity, including, but not limited to “football pools”
  • Reference to or discussion of sex or sexual acts
  • Harassing, insulting or attacking others
  • Damaging computers, computer systems, software, or computer networks
  • Using anyone else’s identity, user ID or password or otherwise gaining unauthorized access to computing network resources
  • Using client company computers or networks for personal or commercial purposes
  • Solicitation for commercial, political, or religious causes

SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY

Premier Staffing Solutions strictly prohibits:

  • Reporting to work under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, illegal drugs, intoxicants, or any controlled substance not prescribed by a physician
  • The use, possession, or trafficking of such illegal drugs, intoxicants, or any controlled substance in any manner during work hours (including breaks, lunch and dinner periods) while on the job
  • In any way using client company property to make or traffic illegal drugs, intoxicants, or any controlled substances
  • Any other use, possession, or trafficking of illegal drugs, intoxicants, or any controlled substances in a manner which is detrimental to the interest of the client company
  • Any on the job injuries will require a post accident drug screen

DRESS POLICY

  • Office Professional Dress according to corporate standards.
  • Light Industrial Professional – Dress according to the employer guidelines.
  • No offensive t-shirts or logos.
  • Shoes must be worn at all times, compliant with business’ requirements.
  • No hats will be worn inside.
  • No loose fitting, baggy clothes.
  • Pants must be worn correctly.
  • Be clean, and well groomed.
  • Use deodorant, minimize or refrain from using perfume.

DISCLAIMER

Employee policies and procedures outlined in our Employee Orientation are developed and maintained at the pleasure of Premier Staffing Solutions and may be changed at any time.  Any statement made within shall not constitute a contract of employment between PSS and the employee.  Employment may be terminated by, either employer or employee, at any time for any reason by notifying Premier Staffing Solutions.  No employee or representative of Premier Staffing Solutions may make any contract, promise or commitment contrary to these guidelines.

Violation of this policy may be cause for immediate dismissal without prior warning.
